(On the Quest for) Beograd Underground is an independent documentary film in form of sequel of interviews with alternative artists from Serbia who have dedicated their lives to the creation of one (sub)culture, very rich in its nuances, yet in a very precarious existence.
Numerous artists speak of their conceptions of the underground as a movement, a way of perceiving reality, a way of social engagement and even a way of living.
The specific sociohistorical condition in the 90’s resulted in an intensive artistic activity as a response to totalitarian regime.
This film is a collection of personal experiences of artists who were involved in the underground scene since the 90’s until today.

Distorted Mirror is a collection of comics that are dealing with
dreams. But moreover, it’s a specific kind of dreams – dreams in which
popular and famous persons appear. We wanted to explore the secret life
of these persons that goes on in subconsciousness of collective. On 130
pages, works of various Balkan and European authors are dealing with
this topic through comics, illustrations and graphic art in general.
Anthology is published by ELEKTRIKA gallery from Pancevo, Serbia, and
exhibition is consisted of 130 A3 prints. Inside the book, you can find
works of authors from Serbia, Ukraine, France, Italy, Japan,
Bulgaria...
Distorted mirror workshop invitation
Now and then, everyone has
dreams in which famous persons appear. Feel free to join our workshop, where
you can relate your experience with such dreams, in which you met or interacted
with either some famous person, fictional character, a politician or a
historical person. Experience in drawing comics is NOT required. We accept any
comics, graphics, drawings and short stories to be included in our growing
database of dreams. Distorted Mirror is
a growing collection of comics and graphic narratives in which authors share
these hidden parts of famous persons lifes; the parts that take place in our
collective subconsciousness. As this concept has a tendency to overcome the
limits of graphic art as a medium, if you are not an artist but you have a
story to tell, we kindly advise you to join us at our dream-recorder booth and
explain the experience you had in a 3-minutes video interview.

Crni pek is the longest subterranean river in Serbia. It is also the name of musical editions of undiscovered outsider music from 1990's in Serbia. It consists of full length albums on very limited runs of CDrs in handmade packaging, and an all encompassing free download compilation, available at nauk.rs All this previously unreleased jewels are obscure even by standards of Serbian underground, and wicked even by standards of nonlinear epigenetics.
